The Pickerel Pond facility is located outside the town of Milford in TWP32MD. The cabin, shooting range, Adirondack shelters, fishing docks and storage facilities have been built with donations both monetary and in-kind support from individuals, organizations, local governments and businesses. The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife owns the land where the facilities are located.
From Old Town:
From Old Town take Route 2 in an easterly direction; crossing over the Old Town and Milford bridges into Milford. Take the second right onto County Road. Travel on the County Road for about 8 miles to the intersection of the County Road and the Studmill Road (four way stop). Turn right onto the Studmill Road at the stop sign and travel 3 miles.
See the entrance to Maine’s Youth Fish And Game Association at Pickerel Pond on the left, through the open yellow gate.
