2026 Summer Camp Registration Opens March 20th

The concept began in 2003 with a local Cops & Bobbers event. Over the course of the week, both tribal and community children could engage in the outdoors through fishing, archery, and a host of other fun outdoor activities under the watchful eyes of local volunteer law enforcement officers.

Now the flagship program of the Maine Youth Fish & Game Association – we’re able to provide a host of activities for 216 children each summer who are taught by professional camp staff and experts in their fields. Including but not limited to:

  • Range Safety & Marksmanship
  • Archery
  • Wilderness Survival
  • Fishing
  • Team Building Games
  • Canoeing/Kayaking
  • Wildlife Preservation
  • Entomologists
  • Biologist
  • Hunters Safety

Our program & its activities are held at our Pickerel Pond facility (44.9713° N, 68.4531° W) for youth ages 8 to 15 – with daily busing provided to/from the Dr. Lewis S. Libby School in Milford (12 miles). We offer a one week (Monday-Friday) day camp experience with one overnight for youths aged 12-15.

Cost of our camp remains affordable thanks to generous donations from the community. Additional scholarships are available for those with financial needs.
